Hi, I'm Isabella — and I train every dog myself.

I'm a San Francisco dog trainer, and Fog City Canine is just me — by design. When you hire me, I'm the one who trains your dog, not a rotating staff or a franchise script.

I came up through working breeds and competitive obedience. My own dogs are Dutch Shepherds (you'll meet them on @hollandseherders), and they taught me what driven, "too much" dogs really need: clarity, a job, and a person who can be calm and fair under pressure.

That's why I love the hard cases — the reactive rescues, the bored geniuses, the dogs other trainers tap out on. But it's also why I'm gentle with first-time puppy owners. Same principles, different speed.

I train where your dog actually lives. Ocean Beach in the fog, Presidio trails, a packed Saturday sidewalk in the Mission. A dog who's perfect in a quiet backyard isn't trained — a dog who's reliable on Market Street is.
